Attention Third Grade Parents! These are great websites that will help prepare your child for the Reading OAA Exam. Take the time to check these out:
Waynesfield-Goshen OAA Page: This page has links to different games students can play for practice as well as links that provide more information on the OAA. The links for the game pages are listed below. The links on test taking strategies and OAA expectations can be found by clicking on the "Waynesfield-Goshen OAA Page" link in green.
-Reading Page: Synonyms, antonyms, vocabulary, and root word practice. Click on a category and select a game
-Reading Labs OAA Jeopardy: Select a number of teams and answer questions on literary terms, suffixes/prefixes, root words, and vocabulary
Learning Upgrade: Students log in with their usernames and passwords and can practice reading skills. This program is great for test preparation!
OAA Practice Tests: This link provides past OAA reading tests for third grade that your child can take. When you get to this website:
-Click on "Practice for the Test"
-Click on "Students Practice for the Test"
-Click on the "Take a Test without Logging In" button on the right hand side
-Select "Reading" then Grade 3
-Pick a school year then select fall or spring
-You will have the option to either print a hard copy of the test or click "Start Test" for an online version
